CHARLOTTE, N.C. - FirstBank of Lexington, Tenn., after acquiring seven branches from AMSouth, has signed with Trusted Security Solutions Inc. for the A98 Key Management System. According to a news release, FirstBank wanted to increase its ATM security after the acquisition.

"We added seven new branches and a total of nine ATMs with this acquisition," said Scott Smith, FirstBank's vice president of electronic banking. "Having the use of the A98 Key Management System made it much easier to bring these ATMs on-line in a compliant fashion."

With A98, the bank's security personnel can management ATMs remotely from the Lexington headquarters.
