Charlotte (N.C.) Business Journal: China Construction Bank Corp. is working to sell nearly 4 percent of its shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In June 2005, Charlotte-based Bank of America Corp. bought a 9 percent stake in China Construction as part of a $3 billion deal, marking the largest purchase of stock in a Chinese bank by an overseas lender.
