GRG opens industrial park in southern China

GUANGZHOU, China - GRG Banking Equipment Co. Ltd. has opened an industrial park in southern China. According to a news release, the company expects to build a new 25,000-square-meter facility at the park, which will support the company's global-growth demands.

Construction of the facility is expected to be complete by the end of 2008. The company says the facility's production capability will reach 12,000 units annually.

"The industry park will provide strong hardware support to increase the competitive edge of the company," GRG said. "As the largest Chinese ATM manufacturer, GRG Banking has progressively developed the core technology of self-service equipments, including automatic teller machine and automatic fare-collection facilities."
