BURLINGTON, Mass. - CTS North America is expanding its presence in the United States and Canada. CTS North America, a subsidiary of the privately held Italian company CTS Electronics, provides banking-automation for check processing, cash processing, and card embossing and printing.

According to a news release, CTS North America is now offering peripheral and open-frame products in the United States and Canada.

Products include:

Check scanning and processing that cover the spectrum of Check21.
Open-frame modules for kiosk and ATM integration that cover check deposit, check cashing, I.D.-card scanning, loyalty and gift-card printing.
Plastic card personalization equipment for decentralized card issuance.
