MOSINEE, Wis. - Wausau has signed a deal with TheBANK of Edwardsville, based in Edwardsville, Ill., to provide its ATM-deposit processing solution. With assets exceeding $1 billion, the bank is using Wausau's ATM ImageManager application to perform ATM deposit processing and balancing, Wausau said.
TheBANK is using an ATM check-image processing platform.
As financial institutions deploy image-enabled ATMs, they need to modify back-office processes.
"Wausau's ATM ImageManager application represents the next step in our remote capture strategy," said Dennis Hessel, president of bank data services for TheBANK. "Our business objective with the Wausau solution was to reduce the daily collection of deposits and transition to a more automated environment."
