Express Computer: Axis Software says it is ready to introduce its biometrics products to the global market. The technology is touted by the Pune, India-based technology firm as offering ATM deployers a way to eliminate the need to PIN entry. Axis works with PIN- and biometric-based ATMs and the backend systems that run them. And with a product portfolio that includes Logical Access Control System, AFIS, Biometric ATM, PIN ATM, Financial Transaction Switch, Retrofit Kit, ABM, and various kiosks, Axis Software hopes dominate its domain.
