BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Banco Galicia says it has invested more than 18 million pesos (U.S. $5.7 million) to add more ATMs and enhanced self-service within its branches.
According to a news release, the bank signed a deal with NCR Corp. to enhance its self-service by adding more ATMs to its existing network of 380 NCR self-service devices.
"This investment reinforces the long standing relationship between both organizations, whose efforts have continuously been focused on customer care and increased customer satisfaction," said Miguel Angel Pena, Banco Galicia's chief operating officer.
NCR has designed a solution for the bank that is fully aligned with the bank's business objectives. Incidents are managed in real time through NCR's Remote Monitoring center and Help Desk. And GASPER, a real-time monitoring tool embedded into the company's intelligent diagnosis systems, is used to monitor Banco Galicia's 600 ATMs and 549 deposit terminals. If necessary, an NCR service representative is dispatched from one of the company's 35 service sites located in Argentina .
"We want to simplify the ATMs and self-service terminals experience so that it will be as customized as possible," said Gustavo Nusenovich, president of NCR Argentina. "Today, more than ever, we can say that we transform transactions into relationships."
