Banks begin collecting fees from ATM services

VietNamNet Bridge: Commercial banks in Vietnam are just beginning to collect fees for ATM and other banking services after years of offering ATM usage to consumers at no charge. Asia Commercial Bank collects fees by automatically deducting funds from the clients' private accounts. Other banks have followed suit, charging a monthly fee for accounts that don't maintain a certain balance.
