ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Dynamic Card Solutions, developer of CardWizard - an instant issue and PIN selection software application for financial institutions, has been validated for its compliance with Visa Payment Application Best Practices.

 

The validation means that Visa recognizes CardWizard for meeting its recommended security standards.

 

"As the instant-card-commerce industry grows, security standards put in place by Visa and other associations ensure that all cardholder data as well as online and store transactions remain confidential," said Ron Zanotti, vice president of sales and marketing for DCS. "CardWizard was designed to enable financial institutions to improve the customer experience with immediate access to credit, debit and prepaid cards."

 

Visa developed its best practices to assist software vendors in creating secure payment applications that help merchants comply with the PCI Data Security Standard.  Adherence to Visa 's PABP requires an audit that looks at all areas that might pose security threats for issuers and customers, and examines details such as how customers select a PIN, how the application transfers information from the branch to the server, and how the software transmits data to the card-personalization device.
