LAS VEGAS - NCR Corp. has announced a milestone for its Aptra ATM software platform, selling its 60,000^th Aptra application licenses in North America.

According to a news release, NCR now has more than 1,500 Aptra customers.

"This is a significant milestone which once again proves the robust capabilities of the Aptra suite, as well as the solid progress the industry is making toward the transition to the more viable Windows-based platform," said Steve Risto, NCR's North American Aptra Center of Expertise director.

The Aptra suite includes advertising, personalization, targeted marketing, no-envelope deposit, voice guidance and remote key management.
