LONDON — Level Four Software Ltd., provider of open-standards-based ATM software, announced that its Bridge:test solution was named "Best Software Product" at the Scottish Software Awards ceremony, which is operated by Targeting Innovation.
According to a news release, this year marks the third time Level Four has won a Scottish Software award. In 2005, Level Four won the best product/service for its XFS extension to the ATM Channel Development Suite; in 2003, the company was runner-up for best software-product company.
"Winning a Scottish Software Award in recognition of our hard work and high-quality solutions is a real boost for our employees around the world, but especially so for those in Scotland," said Ian Kerr, chief executive of Level Four.
Bridge:test addresses ATM-software testing by providing software simulation that recreate customer interactions with real ATMs. The software is touting for saving financial institutions 80 percent in cost and time when manual ATM testing is removed from the picture.
"Level Four's Bridge:test was chosen as the winner of the best-software product award because the solution showed evidence of a high level of innovation, as well as demonstrable commercial success," said George Boag, chief executive of Targeting Innovation. "Level Four is a great example of a Scottish software company that puts the Scottish technology industry on the worldwide map."
