(New York) Daily News: Three men accused of being part of a terrorist plot to steal $250,000 from city ATMs with bogus cards and stolen identities were on Monday sentenced to between one and three years in prison. The sentence came over the objections of prosecutors, who wanted the members of the Sri Lankan-based Tamil Tiger network to serve a longer sentence. In all, six men were charged with plotting to put personal data stolen from people in England on blank credit cards so they could steal money from ATMs. All six pleaded guilty last month.
