DAYTON, Ohio — NCR Corp. has named Jeremy Butt as Global Channel vice president, a new position with responsibility for evolving and executing the company's worldwide strategy for sales growth through distributors, resellers and other channel partners across all of NCR's targeted industry sectors.
Butt is a senior executive with experience in building and leading high-performing global channel strategies. He joins NCR as the company strengthens its leadership in providing assisted- and self-service technology solutions within its core industries — financial services, retail and hospitality — while expanding its presence in other industries such as travel, healthcare, entertainment, gaming and the public sector.
"Jeremy brings a proven track record and experience in working with distributors and resellers to deliver mutually rewarding results," said Malcolm Collins, NCR senior vice president for Global Sales and Marketing. "Together with his strong technology and marketing knowledge, these strengths make him an asset to NCR as we seek further growth through our current and future channel partners."
Butt most recently served as vice president of Worldwide Channels, Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions. His prior experience includes increasingly more senior sales and distributor roles at such companies as Hayes Microcomputer Products, WatchGuard Technologies and Cisco Systems.
