LAS VEGAS — Epson, a supplier of value-added branch banking solutions, has announced in a news release that ProfitStars, a division of Jack Henry & Associates Inc., has certified the Epson CaptureOne desktop scanner as an integral component of its RemitPlus payment processing solution.
According to a news release, the CaptureOne desktop scanner provides ProfitStars' customers with a check-capture device for back-office capture and remote-deposit-capture applications. RemitPlus is a check-posting system that provides a variety of businesses — including utilities, cities, government tax agencies, schools and churches — with the technology to capture check images and credit payments to individual accounts in a fully automated environment, eliminating manual key entry. Additionally, RemitPlus has the ability to convert all paper checks into an electronic funds transfer and transmit through the secure automated clearing house or Check 21 image exchange network.
