ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), developer of CardWizard, the instant issue and PIN selection software application for financial institutions, has announced its latest software application release, CardWizard 4.0, according to a news release. This software creates flexible instant card issuance for debit, ATM, credit and prepaid cards.
Highlights of CardWizard 4.0 include:
• Complete CHIP Personalization – Capitalizing on one of the industry's new growth opportunities, DCS now offers PayPass/payWave contactless personalization that allows financial institutions the benefit of offering ease and convenience to consumers. The system will be able to instantly issue cards with both contactless chips and magnetic stripes allowing them to remain usable with a variety of existing merchants' payment systems. This adds upon CardWizard's existing contact chip and EMV personalization.
• Custom Background Selection – CardWizard 4.0 will allow further customization capabilities that produce a fully personalized, thermally printed, unembossed card in real-time for cardholders. This includes the immediate transmission of all card personalization information such as the cardholder's name, account number, expiration date, CVV or CVC 2 security codes along with front and back card images. During this process, personalization information is printed onto association branded blank cardstock, producing a fully personalized, thermally printed unembossed card instantly.
Other features of CardWizard 4.0 include:
• Expanded camera support for photo capture • Expanded key injection security and support for contactless cards • New, rewritten Batch Input component • Improved font capabilities for unembossed cards
With the ability to adapt to a variety of interfaces, companies can combine CardWizard with a variety of card issuance machines and PIN pad devices to create flexible card issuance environments to accommodate most user requirements. As a component based Windows 9x/NT/200x software application, CardWizard 4.0 integrates into existing branch, host and network systems and boasts an easy-to-use administration component.
CardWizard 4.0 has been in beta testing since March 2008 and is currently available for general use. In addition, DCS will also be releasing product features later this year that will include a new production queue client for campus cards and photo capture, as well as a new reporting capability with the latest innovative functionality.
