BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Fiserv Inc. has been named the 2008 Microsoft Partner of the Year among Microsoft's global independent software vendors.
 
"We are honored to have been chosen by Microsoft as the first financial services partner to receive this global award," said Jeffery Yabuki, Fiserv president and chief executive. "It is our mission to deliver differentiated technology solutions which help our clients achieve best-in-class results."
 
Fiserv uses Microsoft's software in a number of its products, including its next generation of the Voyager online-banking product from Corillian.
