0 ATMs have sold in six months since its market introduction. According to a news release, the 1800 series was launched as a retail ATM that offered features similar to company's popular Mini-Bank 1500, which Nautilus Hyosung had planned to discontinue.
"Customer demand has been high for the 1800 since the new product launched in February," said Carlos Siewczynski, vice president of sales for the retail and self-service division. "We've seen the market respond well to the model and distributors are acting fast to add it to their product line-up."
The NH 1800 shares the majority of its internal parts and components with the 1500, but improvements to the line include a 7-inch color LCD screen, ARM 9 processor and an attractive design, the company says.
"The Nautilus Hyosung 1800 offers the market a tremendous value," said Delone Wilson, senior vice president of Payment Alliance International and an 1800 user. "In the world of an ISO, we are always looking for a cost effective way to drive more transactions to our locations."
Siewczynski says Nautilus Hyosung expects to achieve another milestone by October, when the company plans to reach its goal of selling more than 30,000 ATMs in North America since last year.
