BASINGSTOKE, England — Talaris (formerly De La Rue Cash Systems) took home two awards from the China International Exhibition on Financial Banking Technology and Equipment show in Beijing, China. CIFTEE is China's largest financial technology exhibition. According to a news release, more than 200 exhibitors and 120,000 attendees from Asia's largest banks and manufacturers of financial technology attended the show this year, demonstrating the continued resilience of cash across the world's economies and the high demand for cash as the most popular payment instrument. Competing against Talaris for award recognition were Hitachi, Nautilus Hyosung, Fujitsu, OKI and IBM. Talaris won the "Excellent Booth Design Award" and the "Excellent Financial Equipment Award," given for its Talaris NMD 100 notes and media dispenser.
