The Arizona Republic: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport plans to double the size of its ATM deployment, placing some of the new ATMs in gate areas. In the past, the airport has refrained from deploying ATMs beyond passenger checkpoints, citing security concerns in a post 9/11 world, but seven years later, opinions have changed. Now, airport representatives say customer demand overrides these concerns.
