FoxNews: ATM hackers are accused of organizing and orchestrating a highly coordinated, global attack on ATM cards and are suspected of stealing $9 million from financial institution cardholders in the United States. Customers' personal information might also have been compromised in what federal agents are calling one of the most well-coordinated ATM scams they've seen. The alleged hackers are still at large and could orchestrate another attack. Within hours beginning just after 8 p.m. on Nov. 8, s the thieves struck ATMs in 49 different cities throughout the world — including New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Moscow and Montreal —according to the FBI. Part of the heist was caught on ATM security-camera images. The thieves are suspected of gathering card numbers and PINs after hacking into a computer system at RBS WorldPay, where employers transfer workers' pay directly to payroll cards.
