TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Credit Union 24 has signed Cloverbelt Credit Union of Wisconsin, one of the nation's oldest credit unions, for inclusion in its ATM and POS network, in addition to Ishpeming Community Federal Credit Union of Michigan and KBR Credit Union of Tacoma, Wash.
"We have continually grown during the past 70 years by consistently enhancing our customer service and financial product offerings, and our partnership with Credit Union 24 adds several more important services that we are proud to offer our members," said Cloverbelt Credit Union president Paul Chittum.
Chartered in 1936 and based in Wausau, Wis., Cloverbelt Credit Union has three branches with more than 16,000 members and $140 million in assets.
Based in Ishpeming, Mich., Ishpeming Community FCU has more than $100 million in assets and now serves more than 13,000 members throughout Alger, Baraga, Dickinson, Iron and Marquette counties. In addition to the four-county expansion, Ishpeming Community FCU also has recently introduced several new online services, including a "home teller" that allows members to exercise all aspects of financial management from home.
KBR Credit Union, established in 1949 and based in Tacoma, Wash., serves the employees of Simpson Tacoma Kraft Co. and Caraustar Mill Group, both paper mills in the city of Tacoma, as well as Commencement Bay Mill Co., a lumber mill based in Tacoma. With the city of Tacoma having a history as a lumber and paper mill city, KBR Credit Union has served blue-collar workers in the Tacoma community with financial products and services for 60 years.
