Lisle, Ill.-based Royal Buying Group Inc., a marketing association for convenience-store and gas operators in the United States, has signed Cardtronics to be its exclusive ATM provider. As part of the deal, RBG will recommend Cardtronics to its nearly 6,000 location members that are launching or updating their ATM programs.
Michael Zielinski, RBG's president and chief executive, says the increasing complexity of ATM maintenance and operation led RGB to explore ways to help its retail members with ATM buying and program decisions:
