Collis has been chosen by Sagem Orga, part of the Safran Group, to be Sagem Orga's primary supplier of test tools for banking, e-ID, telecom and health.
Sagem Orga, which provides smart card technology, will rely on Collis for testing tools and services.
Collis' off-the-shelf tools will be used in the areas of banking — smart cards, contactless, near-field communications, the ATM, the host, and MasterCard Visa; e-ID — e-Ticketin g and e-Passports; telecom; and health.
Collis also announced that it was selected by Oberthur Technologies to supply testing tools for EMV card personalization validation. Oberthur Technologies provides security and identification based on smart card technology.
Oberthur aims to standardize EMV validation software for personalization across the Oberthur personalization network. Collis' EMV Personalisation Validation Tool and Personalisation Validation for Production are examples of tools that will be implemented across Oberthur's production facilities.
EMV PVT can test all interfaces of a card, whether that magnetic stripe, embossing, printing, contact chip, contactless chip or NFC. These tools also offer full support for VISA, MasterCard, JCB and American Express, and also support domestic brands such as GIE CB.
