GMT Corp., a provider of enterprise workforce management and performance optimization solutions, and Talaris, a provider of teller cash automation equipment, have partnered to improve branch efficiencies.
The announcement was made during last week's BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo in Boston.
According to a news release, the agreement enables both companies to jointly market their solutions to banks and credit unions. Both companies say the partnership represents a first: Never before have an enterprise workforce management provider and a cash-handling company collaborated to help FIs realize the simultaneous benefits of integrating teller cash automation with workforce optimization technology.
GMT's workforce optimization solution, GMT Planet, is designed to help an FI ensure it is adequately and appropriately staffed so that that it can realize service-level objectives, while reducing customer wait times. Talaris' teller cash automation solutions work to improve the efficiency of cash handling in the branch, freeing staff to concentrate on cross-selling and relationship-building activities.
