ProfitStars, a division of Jack Henry & Associates Inc., has extended its contract with Allen, Texas-based Commerce Bank ($18 billion regional bank holding company) for the deployment of ProfitStars' Sierra Xpedite Back Counter branch-deposit-automation solution.
According to a news release from ProfitStars, Sierra Xpedite has been deployed across Commerce Bank's network of approximately 250 locations. The full enterprise deployment is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2010.
Sierra Xpedite Back Counter was developed by Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc., Jack Henry & Associates' recent acquisition and the latest addition to its ProfitStars division.
Sierra Xpedite Back Counter provides Commerce Bank with a single system, which provides consistency in processing and enables employees to work from any location. The Sierra Xpedite Back Counter solution also enables Commerce Bank to extend its daily ledger cut-off by up to four hours, eliminating intraday balancing and reducing holdover.
Through the initial Back Counter deployment, Commerce Bank expects a reduction of more than 55 percent in transportation costs.
