Maryland bank renews surcharge-free ATM deal with Allpoint

Allpoint Network, a Cardtronics Inc. affiliate and the operator of the largest surcharge-free ATM network in the United States, has renewed its surcharge-free ATM deal with Maryland-based Sandy Spring Bank ($3.6 billion in assets).

"Recent studies continue to support that ATMs are a major factor in bank customer acquisition and retention," said Ben Psillas, Allpoint's president. "Demand for surcharge-free ATM access continues to be very strong."
