ElectraCard Services, also known as ECS, a provider of software solutions for electronic payments, has announced a deal with Bahrain-based Futurebank to upgrade the bank's ATM software with ECS's EFT solution, electraSWITCH.
According to a news release from ECS, electraSWITCH is an advanced payment platform that addresses some of the most complex business and technical challenges faced by the banking industry today. It deals with processing and routing of transactions originating across delivery channels such as ATMs, BNAs, POS or new channels such as Internet, mobile and IVR systems.
"This is our first foray into Bahrain's burgeoning marketplace," said Ramesh Mengawade, CEO of ElectraCard Services. "Having tested and perfected our product in more than 20 countries, we are confident that Futurebank's customers and Bahrain will benefit from our innovative solutions."
