Fifth Third Processing Solutions has named Tony Emrick its new senior vice president of business development.
According to a news release from Fifth Third Processing Solutions, Emrick brings to the company more than 22 years of electronic payments experience. Most recently, Emrick served as president of the STAR Network, which is owned by First Data Corp.

During Emrick's 13 years at First Data, he served in a number of sales and customer relations positions, most recently as head of First Data's STAR Network. During his tenure at First Data, Emrick was responsible for debit processing sales at Electronic Processing Services and the MAC Network, large account sales for Concord EFS, and Debit Services Sales and Relationship Management for First Data Debit Services. Prior to joining First Data, Emrick served as a sales and relationship management executive at Magic Line, an EFT Network that was purchased by NYCE.
Emrick started his career at Midwest Payment Systems, now known as Fifth Third Processing Solutions, holding a number of sales and management positions during his seven years there.
