NCR Corp. says it has launched the industry's only fully weatherized, free-standing cash dispensing ATM — the SelfServ 28. According to a news release from NCR, the SelfServ 28 helps financial institutions, independent sales organizations and other businesses extend their brands by offering ATM services in high traffic off-premises locations.
The fully weatherized NCR SelfServ 28 does not require an enclosure or additional housing structure. Equipped for wired as well as wireless communication, the SelfServ 28 ATM needs only a power outlet to operate. It also features the same look and feel of NCR's SelfServ family, together with features such as self-healing technology, full-motion instructional videos and a modular design.

Launched in 2008, NCR SelfServ ATMs have been purchased by more than 900 FIs in more than 110 countries.
