Switch Commerce today announced that its Mobile Terminal Management System (MobileTMS) is now available on the Apple App store for iPhone and iPod touch users. MobileTMS includes a secure comprehensive ATM portfolio management component as well as an ATM locator available to anyone who carries an iPhone or iPod touch. According to a press release, MobileTMS delivers real-time access to transaction details, terminal alerts and reporting, along with the ability to create terminal IDs, upload terminal pictures and adjust surcharge fees.
"As an ATM operator, I spend most of my time working in the field," said Alexis Olson, owner, Spiral ATM. "Being able to glance at my iPhone and quickly know the status of all my terminals is critical. With the MobileTMS App for my iPhone I can do that. I know my balances and know if a terminal is offline and why. I can review transaction history on the fly. I can even set up a new terminal moments after landing a new account. Having MobileTMS means more uptime for my ATMs and more free time for me."
With the iPhone's GPS capabilities, MobileTMS users can quickly find multiple ATM terminals close to their current location or by searching a specific zip code. The app displays surcharge amounts along with the terminal's address, distance in miles to the terminal's location and a link to Google Maps for more detailed directions.
