US Alliance Group Inc. has announced the launch of its latest version of remote deposit software, a payment processing solution that allows checks to be deposited to any U.S. bank 24 hours a day.
According to a news release from US Alliance Group, remote deposit is now accessible through Merchant Central, a single portal that supports multiple payment methods developed exclusively by USAG.
"Since the release of Remote Deposit, it has grown to become another popular addition to our full suite of processing solutions," USAG CEO Fadi Cheikha said. "To further enhance its features, I am pleased to introduce an updated version that can now be launched from the Merchant Central portal."
Using a certified check scanner and the remote deposit program, merchants are able to submit checks electronically for payment. Remote deposit eliminates trips to the bank, replaces photocopying checks and stores the check images in a paperless environment that allows Merchants to view deposits quickly. To simplify account reconciliation, deposit data can easily be exported into a variety of accounting software.
