GRGBanking Equipment Co. Ltd. will manage China CITIC Bank Corp. Ltd.'s ATM network, according to an agreement both companies recently signed.
GRGBanking Equipment, an ATM manufacturer based on Guangzhou, China, will employ its so-called "Feel View" self-service ATM-management to monitor China CITIC's 4,000 ATMs. Feel View is a real-time hardware monitoring and scientific analysis of ATM transaction data. It is designed to improve the maximum availability of each ATM, GRG officials said in a statement.
Prior to the management agreement, Beijing-based CITIC Bank monitored separately ATMs deployed in its 540 bank branches. GRGBanking officials did not release the contract's details, including when they signed the contract.
CITIC Bank originally was founded in 1987 as CITIC Industrial Bank, a subsidiary of China International Trust and Investment Corp.
