ABSA Group Limited, one of South Africa's largest financial services companies, today announced that it has renewed for another seven years its contract with ATM Solutions Group (Pty) Ltd.
"ATM Solutions has played a pivotal role in the expansion of ABSA-branded ATMs across South Africa," said Christo Vrey, general manager of ABSA Digital Channels. "The alliance has enhanced our service offerings and helped us to achieve corporate responsibility objectives such as bringing safe and affordable banking to remote-rural areas."
ATM Solutions has deployed more than 2,000 ABSA-branded cash express ATMs for the Johannesburg, South Africa-based bank. ATM Solutions places EMV-compliant ATMs in retail outlets and convenience stores for ABSA throughout South Africa.
"By deploying ATMs on behalf of ABSA, we're helping them to focus all of their attention on their core business while meeting the immediate cash withdrawal and value-added services of consumers 24-hours a day," said Wayne Abramson, CEO of ATM Solutions Group, which is also based in Johannesburg.
