ClairMail Inc. has named Carl Tsukahara executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the San Rafael, Calif.-based business that provides mobile payment solutions to financial institutions.

Tsukahara held management positions at Oracle and Hewlett-Packard. He was chief marketing officer of Vitria Technology and owner and principal of Marketing Arts, a strategic marketing consulting company. "The mobile banking and payments market is poised to explode with ClairMail at the intersection between financial institutions and consumers," he said.
